With a little bit of planning you can actually have a really nice lunch and breakfast with you to work and a large bottle of water or any other beverage of your choice.

The next thing you want to start planning is how much you spend on impulse shopping. One of the big sinners here really is the internet. The internet has made shopping really easy and we often find ourselves spending way more than we had first imagined on various things. The best thing you can do in order to avoid spending money on impulse shopping is to cancel your credit cards or leave them at home. Just have enough cash with you to buy the things you need and not enough to go shopping.

The next step is to start collecting receipts of all the things you spend money on and start creating a system where you write everything down. Most people are extremely surprised when they see how much they actually spend on totally meaningless items. The key is to spend money on the stuff that is actually bringing you value on a day to day basis and spend less on the ones that don’t.

Last but not least you should have a container in your home where you store all of your change. Every single time you come home with change you should immediately put them in this container. This step will make a huge difference.
